Chinese Ladies Golf Association
The 2026 season has finished. Thank you to everyone who played — see you next May.
Once a month, from May to October, we take over a golf course somewhere in Ontario — and afterwards we sit down to dinner together.
That has been the shape of it for 28 seasons. Some of us have played since the club began; some picked up a club last spring. Everyone is welcome at the same table.

What a game day looks like
If you have never played with a club before, here is the whole of it — there is nothing to be nervous about.
Arrive and meet
Get there half an hour early, say hello to the ChLGA Starter, and find your group. Bring a guest if you would rather not come alone — plenty of people do.
Play your round
Eighteen holes, power cart included. We play by the Rules of Golf with a few sensible local additions, and a handicap system that keeps it fair whatever your standard.
Dinner and prizes
Everyone sits down together at six. Prizes for low gross and low net in both flights, closest to the pin, longest drive, and whichever fun game we have dreamt up.
Who plays with us
Women amateur golfers who play regularly — that is genuinely the whole requirement. We ask for a current handicap index, or simply proof that you have played ten rounds in the past year.
Flights mean you compete against players of similar standard, and the handicap system does the rest. A beginner and a single-figure player can both win something on the same afternoon.
New members are accepted all year round, so there is no need to wait for a season to start.

Come and play a game with us
You do not have to join to try it. Guests are welcome at any monthly game — pay the green fee plus $10, play in the team competition, and stay for dinner if you like.
